Rape Crisis England and Wales – the national umbrella organisation for our network of independent member Rape Crisis Centres.

British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) – providing help to women with an unplanned pregnancy or a pregnancy they choose not to continue with.

Childline –  telephone and email-based support to children and young people up to the age of 18.

Safeline – a specialised charity working to prevent sexual abuse and to support those affected in their recovery. This includes working with people whose mental health issues (manifesting for example as self-harming) suggest that they may be vulnerable to abuse.

The Samaritans – Whatever you’re going through, a Samaritan will face it with you. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Staying Put – The Children and Families Act 2014 introduced a new duty on local authorities in England to advise, assist and support fostered young people to stay with their foster families when they reach 18, if both parties agree.
